FurnitureDirect / Legal
Privacy Policy
How FurnitureDirect collects, uses and protects your information when you visit factoryfurniture.store or contact our factory.
1. Who we are
FurnitureDirect is a furniture manufacturer based in the He Feng Industrial Area, Nanzhuang Town, Chancheng District, Foshan, Guangdong, China. We supply table sets, chairs, table frames and table tops to business customers worldwide on a wholesale, factory-direct basis. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we handle it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us through the enquiry form. If you use the project enquiry form on this site, we collect your name, company name, email address, WhatsApp number (if provided), the product reference you are asking about, and the project details you describe (quantities, finishes, target market, timing). The name, email and project details fields are required; the rest are optional.
Information from direct contact. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we keep the messages and contact details you share with us so we can continue the conversation and prepare quotations.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used only to operate and secure the site and to diagnose faults.
3. How we use your information
- To answer your enquiries and prepare factory-direct quotations, prices and lead times.
- To manage orders, production confirmations and shipment coordination once you become a customer.
- To send you product updates or price lists you have asked for. We do not send bulk marketing email to anyone who has not requested it.
- To keep the website running securely and to understand, in aggregate, which collections visitors look at.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets a small number of first-party cookies, and — only if you allow it — cookies set by Google and Meta for advertising measurement.
Essential cookies (always on). A cookie named fd_consent records the choice you make in the cookie banner so that we do not ask you on every page. It is not used for advertising or analytics. The enquiry form and the site's basic operation do not require any other cookie. Where the law requires us to ask first (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) the prompt itself is served by Google's certified consent management platform — Google Privacy & Messaging — which keeps its own record of your decision in first-party cookies on this site.
Advertising measurement cookies (set only after you accept). When you accept, we load Google Tag Manager (container GTM-WX5P5432), which in turn loads the Google Ads measurement tags, and the Meta pixel (id 2237608253483466), which measures our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Google and Meta then set cookies in your browser to recognise a visit and to connect an enquiry back to the advert that produced it. Those cookies are:
_gcl_au— Google Ads conversion linker; first-party; up to 90 days._gcl_awand_gcl_dc— first-party conversion cookies; up to 90 days._gac_<AW-ID>— first-party campaign cookie; up to 90 days; set where Google Analytics is linked to the same advertising account.IDEandtest_cookie— set by Google on thedoubleclick.netandgoogle.comdomains; up to 13 months; used where personalised advertising is in use._fbp— set by Meta on this site's domain; identifies a browser for Facebook/Instagram advertising measurement; up to 90 days._fbc— set by Meta on this site's domain when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram advert; records that click; up to 90 days.
Neither Google Tag Manager nor the Meta pixel loads until you accept, so no advertising tag runs and no advertising cookie is written before you make a choice. The only exception is the standard no-JavaScript fallback that ships with Google Tag Manager and with the Meta pixel, which applies solely when scripts are disabled in your browser. If you decline, only the essential cookie above is set and the site behaves exactly the same.
Changing your mind. You can reopen the consent message at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent stops further advertising measurement and the cookies are removed on your next visit.
5. Third parties we share information with
- Google — Google Ads. Advertising measurement is active on this website through Google Tag Manager (container
GTM-WX5P5432), which loads the Google Ads tags. When you consent, Google receives data about your visit — the pages you look at, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the fact that an enquiry was submitted through the form — and uses it to measure how our advertising performs. Google processes this data on our behalf as our service provider; its own handling is described in Google's privacy policy. - Meta Platforms — Facebook/Instagram pixel. Advertising measurement on Facebook and Instagram runs through the Meta pixel (id
2237608253483466), installed on every page of this site. When you consent, Meta receives data about your visit — the pages you look at, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the fact that an enquiry was submitted through the form — and uses it to measure how our advertising performs. Meta processes this data as our service provider under its own data-processing terms; its own handling is described in Meta's privacy policy. - WhatsApp (Meta). The WhatsApp buttons and links on this site open the WhatsApp service, which is operated by Meta. If you use one, WhatsApp/Meta processes your phone number and the message you send under its own privacy policy; we only receive the conversation you choose to send us.
- Google Maps. The map of our factory in the footer is embedded from Google Maps. When you load it, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
- Service providers. We use an email service and a hosting provider to operate this website. They process data only on our instructions, to the extent needed to deliver the service.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We only disclose information if we are legally required to do so.
6. Where your information is kept
This website and its enquiry database are hosted on a server located in Silicon Valley, in the United States, so the information you submit through the site is stored in the United States. Our sales and production team works from Foshan, China, and accesses enquiry data there to answer your questions and prepare quotations. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your information is handled under the safeguards described in this policy, including limiting access to the team members who handle your enquiry.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick up past projects where we left them. Customer order records are kept for the period required by commercial and tax rules. Server logs are kept for a short operational window only.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have rights over your personal information — including the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. These rights apply under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), among other laws; you do not need to be in Europe or California to ask us.
If you have accepted advertising cookies and change your mind, use the Cookie settings link in the footer — that is the quickest way to withdraw consent, and it takes effect immediately.
To exercise any right, or to ask a question about privacy, email us at yandid@163.com. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.
9. Children
This is a business-to-business website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the revision date below. The current version is always published at factoryfurniture.store/privacy-policy.
